    :rocket: Indeed.

When it hit $10 I scooped a pile more. I SHOULD have bought calls but having a now 1 year old I didn’t know if I’d have the ability to babysit them as well.

regular cab looking well my dude!

Had a fun short afternoon at AOAA last Saturday!

By the time I got to AOAA it was about 2:30pm and had to be home at 6pm so almost met up with @Roody and the gang, but @Arcticelf was there too and I circled back to say hi to him and that crew before I had to leave.

basically 2 hrs of solo wheeling, definitely not advisable if you’ve never been to AOAA lol.

    anyways, some pics!

Day 1 of working in my house, I was embarking on a 3 hr round trip to pick up my buddies 16 ft trailer. 30 min in on the highway at 70 mph I hear a terrible squealing and it sounds like the wheel bearing was about to fail.

I limped it home to a gas station to inspect, then 30 min home to assess.

I jacked the truck up and it felt a smidge off, so I sent it.

in 2 hrs (mainly to go get a wheel bearing and fiddling with the dust cap on an aftermarket market wheel bearing) I had it replaced.

    IMG_7049.jpg

    IMG_7050.jpg

Took it for a test drive, still squealing. Did more research and realized it could be rocks on the rotor. Pressure washed it and drove it to pick up the trailer and the noise went away.

In my almost decade of wheeling I haven't had that happen to me, where rocks make it to the brake pad lol

I refinished my stock headlights a couple months back, and holy frijoles what a difference. The high beams are like landing lights. I used the meguiares headlight sealer after using the 3m polishing kit.

I think this battery is dead. not enough juice to get the door locks to work with fob

Had to use a jump pack to start it this morning and I let it run for about 10 minutes. as soon as I killed it and tried to start it absolutely nothing.

Should be under warranty so I have to bring it back to a batteries plus to get a new one. Seems like a short lifespan, considering the stock battery lasted much longer

I have had my truck since October of 07. I'm on my 3rd stock Toyota battery. I get between 5-7 years out of them, even in the cold temps we see here in the winter time. Haven't felt the need to go with anything different.

Turns out the X2 Power 27f agm battery was faulty, so after a week without a truck (which sucks for home improvement projects) I was able to get a replacement and the tacoma fired right up!
