Figure out what size threads that nut and type is. and then look at the parts list on page 8, there is a full description of every nut, that will extremely narrow it down. Then just verify jack has that nut installed. Probably it is just an extra nut that fell on the jack during assembly. Then it got boxed up.

I'm going to painting a project vehicle in the next few months. I've never done it before so looking for good/cheapish equipment. Any recommended HF sanders, air guns, accessories?

Anyone ever use one of these? I have a collet chuck on my lathe. Current project involves doing an operation, then switching collets, another operation, then switch collet back. Each time, it takes 26 full turns (I counted) of the chuck key to either remove or install a collet. I figure a custom made bit and cheap screwdriver would speed things up.

The other alternative would be the Warrior 12v drill which I have used for several projects in the past. It's usually on sale for $15, but naturally, when I want one it's full price.

Should work fine once its loose, those little drills are good for small projects where torque and high speed aren't needed.

I'm going to buy it after work today. That and some other small items should get me my free bucket.

Well, I bought the screwdriver. It works but isn't quite as fast as I'd hoped. Still, it does the job.

Dang, I tried 3 different Harbor Freights this morning to buy one of those boxes (in gray), and I missed out at each one by mere minutes! I did order one, but I was hoping to pick one up today.

Yeah, I had to call a few stores. They told me that they would hold it for me for 24 hours. Not sure if this is applicable at all stores, but if I knew, I would have called at the end of the day yesterday.

I called 6 different stores on Sunday to check thier stock on the tool boxes, and some had 1 or 2 boxes in stock, while others had no boxes (or only 1 in black or red). All of the stores I called would hold the boxes, but only until end of day (so they wouldn't hold the box for the start of the coupon). It was a bit of a pain, but I am happy to get $300 off!

I have not but I've had good luck using HF tools for nice cabinetry projects such as a joiner would be used for.

I recently had to call the HF Customer service dept to order a new lock for the new-to-me series 2 13 drawer lower box. I also needed the pull handle. The lady was nice and helpful, the order showed up on the 30th. They didn't include the mounting screws, which I thought was a bit odd. When I called them back, they tell me that the hardware isn't included and it isnt sold separately. I measured a bolt from the upper box, M6 x 44 mm but with a reduced diameter head. McMaster-Carr has them, so I guess I need to make an account and by 2 bolts.

You can get M6 bolts at any auto store. I just got M8 bolts from both Autozone and Orieleys last week. M6 was right next to em.

I have to say, the 4043 aluminum MIG wire from Harbor Freight is legit!

This stuff makes some stellar welds!

I ran out of wire that I get from local welding supplier, took a gamble and grabbed a spool from HF. I should have been using this from the beginning.
