swapped out the servo on the bouncer. It's 2.3 grams heavier, metal gears. Wasn't sure it would fit, barely clears the end of the motor at full stuff.

and tried the red again. I think I got it this time, Tamiya was the way to go, cured after 24 hours.

and new wheels at 1.3 grams heavier each.

and rebuilt the shocks, added a toothpick glob of grease half the size of a grain of rice to each one.
Definitely keeps the wheels down and the shocks don't "unload" quite so fast on a sidehill now.

The wire tuck looks way better with that battery. Paint looks to come out well too even if red is not my jam

Almost wish I would have left it white long enough to see how it looked with the new wheels.
Who knows, it may change color again next week. :anonymous:

59mm shocks arrived and it's nice to see they come with multiple coils

    20241223_175525.jpg

Stock shocks are only 48mm, but I've got some shock tabs coming in from Etsy so that'll help me tailor my ride height

I cleaned up my Gen8. I'll be sad to see it go, but the Vanquish needs parts!

No, but I'd like to someday. The scene here isn't that large so I'd probably have to travel

Is matching color schemes a performance mod? :D

That makes me feel better. They were on sale and I had coupons and points that stacked.
