Pointless ramblings, as we do here...

I bought a vintage 9mm S-K socket from eBay to complete a set I was given. The first socket I ordered wasn't right--I now know that S-K reused part numbers when revising designs. The set I was trying to complete is a stubby set and the standard-depth socket I got didn't fit into the holder.

I requested to return the socket because I don't need a spare 9mm and maybe someone else will want it. I didn't care about the $8 I paid, I can write that much off to "my mistake".

Ebay said "here's your $8 back and keep the item". I hope that $8 came out of eBay's pocket and not the seller's, I feel bad if I took the seller's time and they didn't get anything out of it.

...and if anyone needs a spare 9mm 3/8 chrome socket, hit me up.

I have a 9mm Allen L wrench and a 3/8” 9mm hex socket to go with those for free.

Back in my dirt bike days, the Highway Dirt Bikes hand guards didn’t specify that they were standard ‘merican bolts, so I thought I had to get the super weird 9mm tools. They worked, but I never needed them before then, and I haven’t needed them since.

    Free to anyone.

Grind it down to match the stubby height and paint black incase you need a 9mm impact socket!

Pulled out the HD leaf spring yesterday. Way way better. Flexes a lot more even with the rear end now. I'm now sitting at 25 and 3/8 to the frame. Pretty ideal for a leaf sprung SAS! I'm going to deck about an inch off my bump stop perch to be greedy with all my usable shock travel and send the springs dead flat at full bump.
