Are you disappointed in me for a trading in my Tacoma to get a 4Runner?

I have 2 of them and the pump. I don’t really use the pump very often but I use the jugs all the time. By far the best I’ve found

Sometimes I feel like I make more than I'm worth. But, then I hear about what union guys make, and I feel like I need a raise.

    Every union is different.

I have friends who work for Miller/Coors, and the union gets them a good salary. But, they can also be forced to work any weekend with minimal notice. I couldn't deal with that.

    There's always pros and cons.

The electrical union helps with my wages, because my company has to be competitive to keep us around. But, even if their hourly might be a bit higher, I have other benefits that those guys generally don't get. I definitely can't complain (but, sometimes I still do) about my current employer.

Kind of like what @CygnusX191 was saying, I just sort of landed here and never left.
At that time (2003) it was join the union or don't work here.

Pros outweigh the Cons (some days not by much):D

It depends on the collective agreement. I got screwed when I finally couldn’t afford to stay where I was at. The Union got a 14k parting gift when I took my pension with. Better than it sittin’ there earning nothin’ but 14k? Really?

I shouldn't end up in that scenario as long as @OldSchlPunk doesn't spend it all.
