    529 and 538 not to much off. I ran 538's in the front of my 4 runner and 529's at the rear toyota axle for about a year wheeling and all. did not even notice anything.
    Mind you I only use the rear diff for daily driving but off road 4x4 no issues
    As long as the wife does not find out I think 40's should calm the gear down a bit. Might have to hold on to 37's until someone needs them though. But definitely keeping the gearing

    Good thing its already got the gear ratio I needed 3.73.

    My Pontiac. After 2 10 bolts & 2 12 bolts, this has gotta be better. 455’s destroy these things especially when they Hook Up.

    Ah gotcha. Depending on what you are blowing up the 14 bolt has a pretty strong pinion since it’s got two bearings supporting it. Full float will be good if you are snapping axles.

    going to be very cool to see a Chonky rear end in a car!

    Took advantage to this really nice day and got some more done. It's slow going but I have all winter to referb 2 axles. Also have to decide on a paint color. Don't want black.edit forgot to put the hub # just in case. It's in the pic

    Found some 20 year old paint. Lol.
    It's alot darker than in the pic it's like a forest green mating surfaces cleaned up and put rotors back on hubs.

    What does any sane person do when it's -5 outside and -10 windchill
    They grind rust. Lol.
    Also I have a paint booth. Did some painting...:)
