No they don't fit unless you remove the brakes.

Like a rally car fitting 15" lol

Massive spacers or offset doesnt count as "fitting"

The oem 16" from 3rd gen likely doesnt fit, thats the real metric.

0 is on the aggressive side for the 4G. It's not a -38 or more which is usually considered aggressive for a 6 lug tacoma. I like 16" wheels and would like to see them easily fit the 4G, I just didn't think it could happen after seeing the 17" steel wheels on the SR. I don't know what's out there that works or won't work.

There are many sizes you choose from, such as offset, spokes patterns, lug pattern, etc.. I know people want 16" wheels for off roading. I have 17" on mine which they are fine for off roading.

You have to remember '24 models are kinda new for a year. I am sure wheel factories are making more for '24 models and newer so they will fit no matter what model trim you have.

I don't think anybody is putting 16" wheels on the hybrid as it leaves the factory 18" wheels the brakes are supposedly larger up front.

The smallest diameter wheel people are fitting on the Tundra are 17" no idea what if anything the Tundra and Tacoma share in brake components.

I didn't want to see the large PDC hub go away from the previous truck. Toyota didn't even stay consistent with Ford on the size of the new hub, which is 106.something and the Ranger is 104.something no idea what size bore GM is using. I guess you build the wheel to fit an axle and not the other way around.

If you want 16" and they don't fit on newer Tacoma, then stick with your 2nd gen. Or change everything under the new Tacoma, I mean axles, brakes, etc..

If it was me, I am not taking hybrid Tacoma to the trails, I take my '17 to off road park. Hybrid for street uses.

I'd just use the wheels that are already on the 4G if I had one. The thread specifically asks about fitting 16" wheels on the 4G. I still say they don't fit.

4th gens are available with two brake sizes. The non-OR gasser trims have 320mm rotors similar to 3rd gen, so 16" wheels can be expected to fit. The hybrids and OR gasser trims have 340mm rotors similar to 5th gen 4Runners, so 17" wheels are minimum.
