    I was a Capitals Season ticket holder from 1974 through the 1991 season. When I started going the price for a medium tier seat was $2.00.

    I stopped going in 1992 because the Capitals would not make an honest commitment to win the Stanley Cup. In the NHL your team aint shit until you win the cup.

    I am rootin for the Bruins tonight. I dislike the Canadians a lot.

    A little obscure NHL history lesson for you. In 1973 the Canadians controlled the NHL in almost all aspects of the league. They passed a rule that allowed teams in 1973 to draft two years into the Junior League thus depleting the talent for the 1974 draft. In 1974 the Washington Capitals and the now defunct Kansas City Scouts came into the NHL. Kansas City Scouts are now the New Jersey Devils. The Caps #1 draft player, Greg Jolly, is a player everyone remembers. In the 1974 season the Caps set records that will probably never be broken. The one I like the best is fewest number of wins on the road with 1 win against the California Golden Seals, remember them.

    In the 74 season I endured losses of 11 to 1 and 10 to 0 against the Canadians.

    Not mad at all man! Kings played a hell of a game, after shooting only 3 shots in the 1st to come back like that, and keep the Sharks on their heels. That game could have gone either way, Sharks got lucky Martinez tripped and they had a nice rush as a result. It's more embarrassing that Sharks couldn't put this game away in regulation.
