Well, Living in ATL, I can understand the lure of venting the cab during the work day while the truck sits and bakes on the heat island parking lot...

I think it’s good quality but not perfect. I will keep them until something else (better?) comes out, especially if it can be made for less wind noise…. Maybe they could have made the parts that stick into the rubber thinner so that the windows can close tighter

Weather tech are too low profile for my liking...
I prefer the AVS / Real Truck...
I went with the in-channel , haven't put them on yet...
But visually I think I prefer the outside track stick on...
    Looks better in my opinion...

Just not idea how long they will stick long term, after cleaning, etc....
Cheap enough to buy, so I can flip flop....

I have a set of the low profile ones on my RAV4 and those make noise.

I wanted to try the low profile one because I have the in-channel/stick-on deflectors on my other car and wanted to try something “less conspicuous?” on a truck… only if I knew it made noises. I’m sure I’ll be looking into the ones you have in time. They don’t look bad at all. Might actually be a better call than the weathertechs afterall..

So an old truck of mine I had issues with AVS in Chanel vents every now and then window would not roll up as it hit the vent in the Chanel it would roll back down, some child safety thing. I ended up getting the tape on ones to avoid that problem and they’re over 20 years old and still holding on strong.

my question for you with the in Chanel vents is, they don’t have problems with the windows rolling back down when it hits the vent? No safety stuff like that to worry about in the tacomas?

Working on a lien delete for my title…..
I always assumed these were for old people and/or smokers…

I need to get a set for fresh air myself…

Of course at 56 now is a great time to take up smoking!

    Thanks for busting my stereotype…..

Has anyone had trouble with in channel popping out on 4th gen.
My 3rd gen the rears would pop off when window was down just sitting in a parking lot. They were the Weather Techs.

I have avs without any issues….
Weather tech are to low profile for me…
Don’t see them doing anything let alone I think they look cheesy compared to real truck Avs…
    Currently have Avs in channel..
