Getting close to fising time here in the midwest it was 90's this weekend!

 

Going to hit 85 tomorrow in NY we will see def going fishing though

 

How much did that hawg weigh??? That is SERIOUS

 

I don't know, didn't have a scale, my guess was close to or a little over 4 was my guess. Hillsdale Lake late fall 2010. It looks a little bigger than it actually was probably

 

Wow I have caught a 4 lber and that is no 4 lber......... should have a scale...i am just saying

 

pretty big turtle i caught while fishing yesterday. he kept stealing our minnows off the hooks so i took some shoe string, made a little noose, clipped weights all around it, and waited for him to get near the bank. when he came up i dropped it down into the water over his head and snatched him out! he was pissed. i know this is the fishing thread, and it's not the biggest turtle but it was a fun catch.

Me and my girlfriend's brother put out some jugs to catch some catfish and ended up with this big 15 pounder...

 

It was a kick ass catch, it was sitting right on a tree trunk, it barely moved when I set the hook, 10 lb. test and a spinning rod!

 

oh he does look rough. . . the one i caught's head and neck was probably 8 inches long. the guy holding it is 6'5 and 300 plus pounds if that gives him a little perspective. notice the branch he snapped on to. glad it wasn't my finger!

 

nice,the biggest bass i ever caught was right around 4 lb. I know thats not that big but here in ny they are hard to get bigger than that trust me i have tried. But he was about 10 feet off sure and he hooked himself.... I was shaking.....

 

Took the girlfriend out fishing for her first time ever. tried to catch some bass but they were tough and she was gettin bored so i gave her a rooster tail and she wore out the blue gill with her pink ugly stik. we ended up having a great time. She caught 5 in about an hour then we went back for dinner. sorry for the crappy cell phone pic

You would be correct, sir. I woulda weighed em...but I lost my freakin scale the other day. They were good smallies, though. Especially for the river. Guess that's what happens when they draw the lake down 70 feet in 35 days to do repairs on the dam.

 

oo yeahhh the best fishing ever.. we caught a 4.6 pound one in texas the other day almost lake record

 

I am sure that Texas has some big larger mouth but you are saying that 4.6 lb is almost a lake record in TX for small mouth?

Damn I miss River fishing for Smallies...I had a great spot on the St. Joesph River in Indiana where I'd catch 4 -5 pounders regularly. I fish local ponds and golf course ponds now for large mouth and its a blast! Nice pics guys!
