Anytime. I went with ds18 as they were a little cheaper and the others were not available when I was ready to order. I don’t know if they’re any better/worse than the Subaru tweeters.

I had and I was a little disappointed. The heads up display is only in the platinum trim the tacoma hud is in the limited and higher trims.


that said, I can make an off road premium with a moonroof and in Everest. No high air intake option. Just need to wait till I can drive one. Wife thinks I wouldn’t be happy without a truck though, so there’s that.

It’s a shame I can’t quite get everything I want in either a Tacoma or 4R within my dreaming budget.

Then I’d have it as a pavement princess for a few years wouldn’t want to mess up the paint. No overland areas around here that I could avoid pinstirping.

Yea… but that new GX550 has all the options and more for almost the same price as the Pro’s and TH editions. I’ve seriously been trying to figure out how to make the payments work on one… but the only way is to trade in the Taco. That said, with owing around $10k on my truck and it still only having 27k miles on it… it would be really hard to walk away from. But the fire sale on all the Taco’s aftermarket parts would help get the GX lift done. Wheels and tires from Taco would just simply swap over.

I feel you on that one! I wrote up the things I’d sell from my truck and it would be a pretty penny if I could get close to the prices I’d post at. I would probably refinance and use most that money to lower the monthly payments, depending what I got after putting 35s on I’m at about 8k left and still under 40k miles on my taco.

Does the GX have a heads up display? I might have said it before but my wife would kill me since she didn’t look at or was interested in Lexus as it needed premium gas.

 

Im not sure if it has the HUD or not… beings it’s a fancier Toyota, I’d assume it would. But it’s a Toyota, so probably only on a specific trim level!

 

Been eyeballing one of these BriteBox units for a while now and may pull the trigger. I’ve always wished my fogs would stay on while using hi beams. And I only say that because I live in the country where deer are everywhere and streetlights are nowhere to be found. I have the DD Sport fogs which are just about as bright as the factory lo beams and fogs combined… which are also great for side-view as well. Mine are slightly pitched in the cups to shine wider than just straight. I also have the Morimoto hi and lo beam H2 bulbs. They are crazy bright as well… but leaving fogs on to see along the edges of the road while also seeing far ahead sounds more ideal!
