The company I worked for installed a Central Office Switch at Eielson AFB/Fairbanks in the winter back in the 80’s. Running in the winter up there? F that. It was so dry I thought my face was going to fall off.

Where and how did you install a kill switch ? I am also thinking of putting one on my Yukon. I believe the switch would be on the hot wire going to the starter.

….because some of us take our trucks to the trailhead to run. ….well, that used to be the excuse for me. since I got the Pro I don’t want to get out of the truck anymore. With my Sr5 and RDX I couldn’t wait to get out of the car …almost as if I was running from the them. ;-)

Btw, I'd take a treadmill over the street anytime …yeah, I’m old like that. Oh, and I ran in 30+ degrees temps, once.

    I run all the time.
I hop in the truck and:
    • Run to the liquor store
    • I run out into the back country and up some roads
    • Run out for gas.
    • Sometimes the wife and I run out for a meal
    • Run by the car wash

This little truck has me running all over.
In the summer I run with the AC on. In the winter I run the heater. It's always crazy comfortable on these seats too.

Another option, or additional option I was considering (for those of us with autos) is a kill switch on the brake pedal interlock. You can start your truck and leave it running, but 'they' can't take it out of Park. That, and a discretely hidden Garmin Mini2 aimed right up at the driver (or perp).

Yes... This.... Every Tacoma release has been like this for me.

I hated them all ... For a few years... Then when I see them with a proper set of tires and tasteful upgrades they wind up growing on me..

I regularly throw in 200-300 lbs in the bed plus tow my boat, so I needed a beefy rear setup. ICON RXT (option 2) and 5125s. She used to squat so much all that weight in the bed and towing while stock. 5100s up front on position 4.

Thats right brah! Small lift compared to Yotas out here.

Mahalo brah. I grew up in the cold. I know how it is.
