Push the truck at a pretty quick pace. (Downhill is better because then its picks up its own momentum). Once its rolling push the clutch in, put the truck in 2nd and drop the clutch. The momentum of the tires/driveline will turn the motor over and voolah. Its called a bump start. done it many times.

you CAN do it in an auto but 1 it will probably do some damage and 2 you gotta be pushin atleast 40ish mph to get it to start

Yes. On level or on a slight downgrade, you can.
Put it in third gear, hold 3/4 throttle till started, pop clutch and quickly disenaguge. Should work on first try.
Works on cars and motorcycles. 3rd gear greatly reduces the stress and scrubbing of the tires involved with a 1st gear bump start.
