UPS Package issues

Hey TW. I just wanted to see if anyone else on here is experiencing issues with UPS like me. Long story short is i have 2 separate packages from 2 separate sellers bought on different sell dates.

One is has been sitting in my local town for 7 days now with no delivery date given. It should have been delivered at least a week ago. I call and they say nothing to do except contact seller which i did today.

Another one is sitting at a UPS facility close to where it originated from and now its on day 8 and no movement. Seller has been contacted and they will be looking into it. I understand it is the Holiday season but is this something others are dealing with?

 

That usually means damage. Are they heavy items?

 

One is kinda and the other isnt.

 

Yea you need to keep in touch with the shipper that's the only people UPS will talk to or deal with. Both times are way over for weather or anything besides damaged or just lost in the building or worst case stolen.

 

CV in one and Tie Rods in other

 

UPS service, while never perfect has gone WAY down hill in the last 10 years. I worked for them for 33 years(retired 3 years ago)and have seen the decline in service.

 

Yea the CV is likely in a damage bin somewhere.

 

Ive never had this happen. And 2 issues at the same time no less....

 

It's sad. Unfortunately pretty much all shipping companies suck ass now. There really is no reason for a package to be held anywhere for 7-8 days with no tracking info. Best of luck man just keep on the vender or shipper and see that they take care of you and let them fight it out.

Just sucks because im going on a trip Tuesday and needed the tie rods. I guess i put the stocks i have on and swap em out when they finally show up. Just sucks that ill have to do 2 times the work.

 

Not UPS But USPS Sent my package on a tour of USA...

Started in MD....supposed to come to KY

 

Amazon's success has brought down the big carriers they don't have as much revenue they have no incentive to give the customer any better service than they already do.

 

Thats bullshit dude. On the bright side atleast they are updating it. One of mine is sitting somewhere around me with no way for me to figure it out. I cant pick it up either.

 

Just because it says your package is at a certain location does not mean it is.

 

Called UPS the other day and i swear it sounded like a scam call center in the background because it was so loud but it was the legit UPS....

 

UPS cut a bunch of jobs this year the process is becoming more and more automated.

 

They raised wages and then did massive cuts.

 

Ground shipping service ? In Hawaii ground service commes through air for obvious reasons. They will sit at facility for several days. Why , because ground shipping is cheaper than 2nd day air . If they deliver early everyone would ship ground.
