On the other hand I can’t figure out why they cast that part from pot metal. I mean it holds a bearing, likely gets heat & vibration. Why think like that?

 

All it has to do is make it through the warranty.

So much neat stuff from that era, imagine if they had the electronic tech we have today.

You might have had a Chrysler 440 with 13:1 compression, multiport fuel injection & no distributor.

Afternoon all! Got a really cool gift from my younger brother this year. He bought a cnc router and has been messing with it. He made me a cribbage board featuring my favorite lake, and it even has the correct topographical surroundings albeit a little larger than the scale of the lake to show the texture a little better.

 

Said better for both. Don’t believe I asked.

Couple months ago a lady at church ask if Cole and I would come trim a tree off of her building, I said yes. She said no hurry at all.

We went today, she said you know anybody looking for a car?

Came home and got the battery charger, air tank for a front tire, and 5 gallons of gas. It changed shops. Needs two front tires.

Never thought I’d own a Volkswagen. 2.0 liter with a turbo and a new transmission a few years ago. Oh, and it’s a convertible.





Wife went with us to fetch it and the lady ask if she wanted a kitchen table, why yes we’ll take that too. Had 7 chairs. It’s absolutely beautiful. Unloaded all the stuff in the back of the Duramax and put the table in upside down then packed the rest on top.
