So I traded in my GT86 and got a Tacoma wahoo!! Anyway I’ve been reading a lot through here but there is so much information it’s hard to find exactly what I’m looking for.

I want to net up close to a 6” lift including suspension and tires. I plan on getting SPC UCA (seem most configurable), Diff drop, CB drop, between 33-35 tires, cmc, ECGS, cutting beating I’m not sure what else I’m possibly missing (please let me know).

The most I’ve seen are RC lifts and spacers but I want to stay away from those because I want comfort and not cut out cross members.

Are there any lifts out there for a true 3 inch with like 34s to get 6” or 4 inch with 33s? Anyone close to this?

Well that doesn’t seem like a good trade off lol is that the only option? I’ve read that best bang for buck is bilstein 5100s with ome 2888s with half in spacer to get the 3”and do everything I’ve said above to fit 33s and regear for 35s but I’ve read that they sag. Are their any 2.5-3 inch lifts that dont settle much or sag?

Is this a daily driver? Have you ever owned a lifted truck?

Here’s the cold hard truth about a lift that high. Do it right (~15k ish) or it’s gonna ride like absolute garbage and have capability worse than stock

You can easily fit 33’s, most people do that because it’s without too much work or modding to the truck. Getting to 35’s will take more work with needing a CMR and chopping. Nothing too crazy but work will need to be done.

I’m confused though because initially you said you wanted to net 6” of lift and then you said to get it to 3” of lift in the second post. Getting that much lift out of a Tacoma is not ideal unless you start to really get into some serious fabbing and $$$ and plan to use it for what it’s built for. I can’t speak to a bracket lift because I don’t have one and am not familiar. When you start to get upward of 2.75” of lift the ride becomes pretty rough and bump steer is harsh. Call Accutune and pick their brain on what you need and want because they have the knowledge to teach you, plus take a look at the may articles and videos on their website to help you understand it all. Do more research so you get it right the first time.

He wants the truck to sit about 6” higher via a combination of lift and larger tires. Basically the standard Tacoma World special, a 3” lift plus 33s.

My first was a 2000 5spd 4Runner on 3” lift and 33 or 35s before I moved on to the car scene. It will be daily with maybe once a month off-roading and more often trails

Homie is primed to learn and I’m here to watch. Coming from a small rear wheel drive vehicle that likes to stay close to the ground and going to a truck with the goal of lifting it 6”.. if you drive the obnoxiously lifted truck the same way you did the car you’ll be inverted before you can look up the definition of inverted.

Since the OME MT64's came out they're using a 4004 spring.
I don't know if you'll have an easy time finding the 2888's, as I'm thinking they aren't making them anymore. (don't quote me on that)

Says it’s only a 2inch lift in the front what if I threw in a half inch spacer or shim
