    Gave it a bath, got tags, changed oil, new wiper blades, new headlight bulb, drove it in the rain and filled it up with gas.

    New front tires should be here Monday, then get it inspected.

    I almost took a photo of that diabolical thing, here is one similar:

    It is the damper for the glove box which is attached to the guitar pick looking thing on the right.
    When you open the door the white thing is pulled to the right compressing springs, the unit is behind the glove box.

    What a pain in the @$$. :mad:
    You are standing bent down, looking kind of over your right shoulder trying to hold a light, the door up - and and then compress the tabs on the sides of the glovebox whilst holding the (spring loaded) cable out and then reattach the guitar pick thing... :rant:
