Some may be offended but I’m scoring Old Grand-Dad 114 high on my chart of tasty bourbon! Price point is super affordable. I usually have a few bottles of bourbon in the freezer and we drank quite a bit. It’s got that slight burn that lets you know it’s not kool-Aid, but not harsh. IMG_0141.jpg

Go ahead and argue with me about it! Hopefully it doesn’t become super popular to the point where it drives the cost up.

That red labeled rye is one of my favorites. Haven't seen it around with the red label lately. If I see it again I'll 100% grab another. Amazing stuff.

    Rip.

Idk if it was just me but this bottle was bad for the first 3/4. Like drinking ether. But….. the last 1/4 of the bottle came to life. Don’t know if it was being open for a while vs fresh crack or what. I’m a noob.
Anyways cheers. On the lookout for the next.

Last nights pour. Temped to finish off the bottle, it’s such an enjoyable pour. Another night. Cheers.

Its about retail - in fact, I think its a bit below retail by a few bucks.

I'm in Anchorage right now and found one here for $149.00

I may reach out for the Haystack Needle RYE in a week or two after I've recuperated from this trip :bananadead:

The toasted barrel barrel strengths are good. Excited that they’re starting to show up locally
