    Do I need a relay for this switch? I don't even know what a relay does for sure. Am I supposed to send the positive wire to on line prong and the neg to the other and the compressor power to the motor prongs? IMG_3310.jpg

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Yeah the pressure switch needs a relay, it isn't robust enough to switch the current that the compressor draws it would burn up or weld itself on. The relay is designed to be a remote controlled switch for higher current.

    What's your whole goal here? Just a simple pressure controlled compressor? Does anything else need to switch the compressor circuit on or off or is it just tank pressure dependent?
