I was in the same boat. GF agreed to an older 4R as an engagement ring, but figured one of us need a fuel efficient vehicle. Looking at 2016 Camrys currently

 

I hear that. Right now, neither of ours are fuel efficient. The grand Highlander gets 17-ish mpg in and around town. Wife works from home so it’s not an issue, luckily.

 

I never even thought of a vehicle as an engagement ring… I went for a watch. Lol

Can I get a mulligan??

Stopped in Hanover Toyota this afternoon to grab some oil filters for the Rav4. They had maybe six new Tacomas on the lot that appeared to be just off the truck. Quite a few Tundras too. Ran in to my salesman and said nope, not even going to look a one it's not the right time and I'm not giving up the 2023. For what it's worth he commented the turbo 4 was "ok", but I was better off with the V6. Kinda my thought too.. the first year of a new generation powertrain is almost always buggy.

Loving the ride quality, haven't been able to take too many turns at high speeds to really test them tho

Good morning, and yes, raining hard here.

Have a feeling it's gonna be a lazy day, not that I'm complaining....

 

Was raining when I got up shortly after 6, but seemed to have tapered off by 7ish… still looking pretty nasty out there though. Paul, I think you’re right… going to be a lazy kinda day. Wife has a hair appointment at like 10, those take about 6-8 hours ( )? So I’ll probably find a good movie, of three of them, and just hang out. Doubt I’ll venture out today.

Actually, just played for a bit… double XP weekend. Prestiged 2x now, so I’ve been at it a little bit. Interested to see what this new Squid Games expansion is going to be like.

Sorry that Mother Nature had other plans for you today. I wonder how tomorrow’s meet will be with all the rain in the forecast??

 

I went past there last week, it looks like they have some major construction going on in the back side of the building.

Sounds like a good reason to get some wings from your favorite place!

 

Haha the double XP for 10 days is crazy. Looks like just clouds for the rest of the day. Just got the tools and will start after I eat!

 

The two most important things are simply to take your time with the grates… not to scratch the dash. And don’t drop the little bolts that hold speakers in.
