iOS 18.2 and TacoTown - Anyone Else Having Issues?

For better or worse, updated to 18.2 a few days ago and now I can't post/reply or really anything else it seems; am I special or did anyone else run in to this?

I needed to do this update. Just did now and if this posts, I’m not having the issue you are.

Iphone 16 straight up, no max or pro.

Did that after Spotify's background activity started killing my battery and did a fresh install (restart required after app & data delete). Maybe a cache or history clear or something is in order, might just start with a logout/in...but first, I really need some dinner haha.

 

I'm having tons of issues here and it seems to have started a few days after 18.2, so I'm not sure it's related to that but man it's obnoxious. I keep having to switch to my Edge browser specifically for TW. I get "please enter a valid message" in private messages, and I get lots of numbers and mysql failures in threads, with it telling me webmaster has been notified, whatever that means.

 

Yep this is me. Haven't tried to PM anyone since, but "glad" to hear someone else is in the same boat. That said, I haven't tried anything yet but I'm probably getting more done in the garage without the distraction in my hand.

 

Lol. Throughout the whole transmission thread, I was wasting time....because I'd get on Safari, try to respond to things, type it all out and boom. Denied. Then I'd have to copy, go over to Edge, try to paste it there for a reply, but often some or all of what I typed was already there, so I'd either have to delete and then paste, or send what was there. Total pain. I reached out to tcbob over it, but no real solution yet.

I was on the 18.2 betas for a long time leading up the actual release of 18.2 and I had no problems in beta phase. So I wasn't sure if it's iOS or what.

 

Im on 18.2 on my 15 pro, and have no issues in Safari

 

Any luck with this? This problem on my phone is driving me nuts…

 

Thanks. It may not even be your problem, probably something to do more with the phone. But weird that some have problems and some don’t.

 

Interesting….good catch. Wonder why the problems all of a sudden. Thanks for looking into it. I do have that turned on and have for a while.

Not sure if I am yet or not. I turned private relay back on, but it’s random when I have the troubles, so we’ll see. There will be a while of trouble, and then other times where it’s fine. Keeping an eye on it for now.

 

Declared victory a bit too soon; I'm back out of business...

 

Working now, definitely was not earlier when moon posted that he spoke too soon. But it has been very in and out along this whole time frame, so we’ll see with more time. I’ll keep an eye out and report back how it goes. Thanks!
