Have fun. Bring some snacks (other than your passengers) and play an audiobook while you're driving to distract them...maybe this one https://origin-www.audible.com/pd/History-of-the-Donner-Party-Audiobook/B00F52D8Z2

Spent some time exploring NV over the last couple weeks. Enjoyed some hot springs and adventured to find a couple Christmas trees. Nevada is an awesome state if you know how to escape the normalcy.

    Congratulations.

UNR? I attended one year, just out of the navy, in '76.

Are there any decent shops in town that rebuild king shocks? Or is sending them out to someone like accutune the beat option?

McCarran didn't even go all the way around back then. I think in '76 hwy 395 ended as a dirt road at golden valley.

Yeah. It's been almost 50 years. Fond memories.

Later I worked at Grove Valve and Regulator as well as A&B Precision Metals.

Used to drive dirt roads off Wedekind.

I just saw Jason at A&B Precision Metals last week. He's probably about old enough to have been there that long. Dunno if he's been there that long though

    I was there 78/79/80?
I do not recall a Jason. The owners are a good family. My dad knew them.

    Memories.
1st job. Galts Chick Farm (restaurant) near Greenbrae. '69.

You bet. I've got one more elk hunt, then I need to get ahold of him. I have a rear that just started leaking.

Last big game hunt of the season. This dang truck has been so good. Needs a little love, but not bad for what I put it through this year.

@cartter469, make it a tradition! Today was year 15 of snow play before presents for us. Kids don't know any different as it's been part of their Christmas routine since they were born.

We were also at Rose today and the snow was better than I expected. We started on the main lodge side for our annual family pic and a warm up run before heading to slide side side. Skied the trees between Bruce's and washoe zephyr and there were plenty of fresh turns to be had, even after lunch.

Sorry to bother you all, but can anyone recommend an auto body place in the Reno/Sparks/Carson area that will do a good job on color matching a fender?

I bought a new OEM fender to replace the one that got bent recently, but do not have the confidence to paint it myself. Hoping to find a place where I can drop off the bent fender and the OEM fender and have them paint the latter to match the former (I can do all the busy work in terms of removing/installing).

Sort of hoping for that good balance between quality and price that you all have been so helpful with recommending for services that those of us in Lassen County don't have easy access to (e.g. Drive Line & Gear Service, Cutting Edge tinting).
