Speaking of breaks….


I took the front racing slicks off the front of the VW cause the new ones will be hear Monday.






They had a few miles left in them





Hear’s where the breaks comes in two play. I found these in the car when cleaning it out.





When I removed the front slicks I found which end they needed to go on.




The recipe was in the box, from 2018

“limited lifetime replacement”. Glad I have the recipe

The guy actually text me back and said “nice job”

 

“The” neighbor came by yesterday and talked to my wife. I was in the shop. I would have went in to be nice, had she not sent my wife a nasty text last year that wasn’t meant for her, about me and Cole making noise with the saw and skidsteer and me not knowing and stopped mowing the yard to go talk to her when she came by, right after she sent it.

Wife said she came in the front door and walked straight to the back to look at the deck. She ask if I built it, wife said yes. She said she needs someone to build her one. Wife said good luck.

She then ask where was the one who makes all the smells. Wife said what are you talking about? She said the one who burns stuff. Wife said all we burn is wood in the shop stove.

She then said she needs to find somewhere to shoot since we took her spot. I put the deer blind on our land, behind her house. She has just as much land as us, it’s a lot hillier though. In the year and few months we’ve lived here, all I’ve heard her shoot is her mouth.

She then said next time we put something on the driveway to not use asphalt millings cause they contaminate the ground water.

Had I been in there I would have told her she can put something on it of her choosing if she feels compelled to do it. Otherwise keep quiet about it, especially if I’m taking care of it and don’t ask for anything. Remember, she’s the one who told me the ditch wasn’t right when I redid it and she didn’t offer to help.

Said she may be moving back to California in 2-3 years. Let me know, I’ll scrape the driveway so it’s smooth on your departure

 

Might just get one of those “we have worked……days without an injury” signs & I’ll let you take it from there.

Well, it's nothing like creeds miniatures, but I started working on the rat fink style model. Still needs lots more work, but I'm getting shakey so it's time to quit for today
