LubeGard adding question

I’m going to inject LubeGard platinum in the transmission. It’s 10oz. Can I just add it to the existing fluid or should I drain 10oz of transmission fluid first and then add the additive?

 

I just added it after the level check was done.

Been wondering the same thing in anticipation of adding it in the near future. I was under the impression you treat is an equal amount of ATF and it is part of the level check process.

 

Thanks for all the input. I can honestly say this thing actually works. The shifts are much smoother, quicker and quieter. No more too early gear shifts or too late shifts. Drove it around for 60-70 miles and I just love it.

 

How did you end up adding it?

Did you ever deal with the stutter around 40-45 mph? I'm wondering if this helps

 

Cheap transfer pump from Home Depot. I’m sorry I have never experienced the stutter.

Sorry, I meant to ask if you just added it to the current ATF or added and redid the level check.
