Im off till Thursday and most of Christmas stuff tore down. Blue Origin crap is somebody elses problem, they got their head so far up their keyster they're speaking metric. Wife said go kill something why dontcha. So today a 200lb hog stepped out, probably 60 yards from me. I managed to miss him twicet and the 3rd round went click. Back at it tomorry. Today I was a Misser. Killer tomorrow.

It was nice enough out today that I got the pressure washer out and cleaned up the truck for the winter.

Mrs Green is off to visit her mother for a few days, to celebrate to console myself in her absence I got a take -n- bake pizza from Aldi's.

Onions, peppers, mushrooms - all the good stuff she won't eat.
Sausage and pepperoni too, I added a bit of extra cheese.

That era VW is very uhmmm... quirky. That engine is an interesting mix of parts. I'm not even going to go down that rabbit hole as I don't want to feel like I'm raining down on your parade.

But, quick advice is use only a VW 502 approved oil, Mobil 1 Euro 0w40, 5w40 or Castrol Euro 0w40, 5w40, Pennzoil Euro 0w40, 5w40 are the most affordable oils at WalMart. Using a 5w30 or the like will wipe out that mid chain between camshafts and high pressure fuel pump cam follower in a hurry.

I'll advise as things go wrong, and they will. Please don't take this as me crapping on your car, I've just seen things and may be able to point you in the right direction as if you don't DIY it will wind up an expensive journey.
