Haha, no sweat! My sister is first in charge on that matter after the group of TIA strokes hit Mom in August, I'm second-in-charge I suppose but they're in ohio. Still hoping for a little more improvement but still she's climbed a mountain since August.

We are all creatures of habit. I’ve always done it with no ramps. I would be curious to see how much came out after taking it off the ramps. Maybe a little or none at all. Also the drain plug is on the bottom drivers side of the oil pan but the way the oil pan is shaped it probably won’t make a difference.

The small black tin oil pan with the drain plug in it is just the lower engine oil pan, the really big upper engine oil pan is aluminum and goes from the timing cover to the rear of the engine block, and since the lower oil pan is at the back, most part of the main/upper oil pan, it would probably drain a little more oil with the front of the main oil pan being higher then the lower oil pan with the truck on stands/ramps..

The lower tin oil pan was a gift from the engineers for not having to replace a stripped oil drain plug threaded hole in the main aluminum oil pan from years ago, the lower much easier and much cheaper to replace oil pan can also be used to inspect the oil pick up screen in some if not most/all engines with out having to pull the engine to remove the main oil pan...

New tires rubbed a little bit in reverse and on bumps while turning. Could have just bent the wheel well liner. Decided to give it a baby viper.

Finally got around to sticking some H9s in place of the H11 low beams. Very noticeable difference in light output. Should have done it years ago. Next up is door speakers I got for X-mas.

Replaced all my bulbs in the cab with DD LED’s.

Well almost…dropped the dome bulb and my taco swallowed it. Literally gone! Have to order another.

You might have something there, I am not sure.

I fully understand that when boring cylinders, the torque of the cylinder head bolts distorts the cylinders, so for racing applications, or blue printed engine builders, they use a torque plate and properly torqued head bolts, then bore the cylinders round while torqued up. This effect is measurable and documented. So, for me, this is proof enough that bolt tightening distorts things, and certainly could put rotors under unintended stress; though I admit that I have no proof that over-tightened lugs have caused me warped rotors.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Yes they are. And being the same size dimensionally as an H11, the light pattern will not blind oncoming traffic.

Got to do a couple of post Christmas upgrades.

    Tacoma Lifestyle 3rd brake light.
Probably the longest and most aggravating install ever for 2 bolts. Had to do this twice as I was not happy with the first install light setting and weather sealing.

    IMG_1579.jpg

DS18 ST Pro tweeters. This was the easiest install ever. Direct plug and play and can notice a distinct upgrade. The previous owner installed some KENWOOD Excelon mids and I can already notice a difference. Can’t imagine how these compare to stock.
    IMG_1572.jpg

Also added eBay seat jackers to the passenger side. No pics on this one. Not as nice as the 1st set I bought for the drivers side but easy bolt in.
