My boss and I are going up to Amicalola falls on Sunday to ride Nimblewill to pop the cherry one his new new lift and tires. I figured I would put this out there to see if anyone else wants to join. Come to think of it, I will be popping the cherry on my lift too. I haven't been wheeling since I installed my lift either.

For those who don't know where Amicalola Falls is, It's on hwy 52 about halfway between Ellijay and Dahlonega.

We are going to meet there in the morning-ish.

The trails aren't super difficult, A little technical in some parts. I personally don't think a pre-runner could make it through some of the sections, because I have had difficulty even in 4LO open/open going over some of the rocks.

Water temp in the river? Probably still to damn cold to make a run down the river in tube or kayak. Nice country up that way.

No idea on the temp, but you're probably right. too damn cold. It can be a little chilly in the summer time too.

Actually probably down 52 at the corner of nimblewill church rd. There's two abandoned stores on the corner and a campground sign (IIRC). We'll come into the park from the back. Plus if you're coming from dahlonega, it will be closer to you than driving to the park entrance.

We'll be done before the evening.

I know the spot, it saves us from the cost of admission as well.

Alex and Homer, It was nice to meet you guys yesterday. It was a fun little trail ride. I forgot to bring my camera and didn't have a passenger (well chewy lacks opposable thumbs so he can't take pictures) so I didn't get any pictures.

I uploaded a video of the water hole to youtube and will post it later this evening. Too bad you guys cheated and went around it :D Make sure you do the diff breather mod so you don't have to go around it next time.

It was nice meeting you too man. I forgot my camera as well, but there wasn't much time to really use it. If I had known that the cameras were watching, I may have went through it. lol
