I got some of those transparent amber stickers to put on the OEM lights to see if yellow/amber would be a better choice in terms of visibility. Honestly the stickers themselves give you enough of a tint if you’re not looking to spend that much

    Lotsa PIAA lights.
I haven’t found the need to as of yet not like my previous Tacomas. I’m actually impressed with the stock configuration. I will add more . I just haven’t found a solution for mine yet.

Eventually I want to put a set of the DD SS3 pods or SSC2 behind the lower bumper grill (next to the radar sensor) and wire them to one of the Aux switches. I'm hopeful that someone comes out with a mount so that I don't have to make my own.

From my due diligence, this route is cheaper than sourcing OEM switches, fabricating, or buying wiring, harnesses with relays, cleaner install, simple…

purchased from an eBay vendor for $110 shipped..

Think this controller is going back & getting a different auxbeam, with the solid state relays...
Not liking how this one only has positive wire attachment points within the controller, so all grounds still need to go to the battery...
That wouldn't be the clean install im looking for, defeats the purpose...

Have all pre-fabbed "up fitter" harnesses, would look much cleaner not putting the grounds to chassis or battery route....
Not a huge deal, just send it back & get the other style...
Other style is also lower profile so will look cleaner, even if it does require the additional circuit breaker wired in...

    Got her installed...
Could have done it 10 different ways, but overall looks clean....
Tucked the control wire to the switches, up underneath the windshield wiper cowl so can see any spaghetti going across the engine bay...
Used industrial velcro to attach controller to dash.
Didnt snip any relief cuts in the plastic of the dash side cover where the control wire enters behind the dash...
Also attached the control box to the top of the fuse cover using velcro...
I did screw-down the circuit breaker though....
I think it looks like a clean install considering.

Mine are on order, cant wait....
Brahian, Lane, & tech support Ulices, have been great answering all my questions & giving me my needed brain massage...
    Controller installed, ready to go...
Drop the bumper & drop them in.
Set of s1 clear spots for the vent pockets below the head lights..
& 4 s2 baja amber for the replacement fogs in the bumper...
Theyre sending me amber combo lenses cornering / spot, to go along with the cornering lenses that they come equipped with..
Should look impressive when all said & done..

Mixed info out there on what will look most impressive, perform the best, etc, in regards to which lense...

    Of course!

    S1 Spot Clear
    upload_2025-1-6_11-36-4.png

    S1 Wide Cornering Clear
    upload_2025-1-6_11-36-45.png

Each cone is at 100ft. The spot will give you more distance while the wide/cornering will flood the light.
