Haven't been on TW (specifically the 1st Gen lunchtable) in a bit. You make molle panels now? I've been looking for something like this for the GX for some time now.

Also, may need to reach out to you pretty soon. I am looking to put a second battery system in the engine bay and may need some help with a few brackets.

Funny, that's the same site @0xDEADBEEF posted?

I made a mock up panel some few weeks ago.

Just mailed it to him so he'll get to it one of these days but he's helping to figure out what the best method of attachment would be.

Here's how it looks when I cut it out -

    20241118_131319.jpg

And painted with some simple textured, rattle can paint -

    20241118_164313.jpg

I'll run one myself, but honestly didn't have the desire to figure out mounting or mess with it at all. Been busy making production parts and my table was disgusting.

    Finally cleaned it up today.

Use heatshrink on the bottom tabs to prevent some metal on metal or metal on plastic -

The tool kit one would be nice, but I'm looking to replace the nasty stretched out net. Would also be looking to make a bracket similar to the one in the upper left of this pic for a battery mount (in the passenger rear of the GX engine bay).

The larger one you mention would be easier to make for sure.

Once he tests his molle gear on the panel, I could move forward with making the big one.

I say this because the panel spacing is more or less custom - you'll see lots of aftermarket companies vary their spacing and/or slot size so I just kind of used my own stuff here at home to make the pattern.

Worked for me, but it's better that it reaches someone else so they can test it out with their own gear before I'm comfortable with offering it to others.

To be fair, I'm probably never going to use the molle panel for any of that, mostly just looking to replace the loose netting so that the cubby/pocket is useable again.

Would even take a non-molle option with wire basket or similar.

Dashcam installed on the wife's car. Literally a 1 minute job with those plug and play USB adapters.

Are you sure that axle is sanitary? Looks questionable to me

    Bit dirty
Little surface rust to clean up, nothing bad though. Worst parts the drums, and mine are basically brand new anyway so will probably swap my parts over.
The wet spots are just brake fluid, Though the pinion seal is seeping through the pinion stake nut area a bit, may or may not fix that. He didn't even know about it until the driveshaft came off, since the driveshaft flange was sealing it all airtight. Wasn't seeping through the outside at all.
Got it from a good guy I've been out on some trails with before, not too worried about anything.
Hes doing a 3rd gen axle swap with a fully custom rear frame and 3-link setup. Aiming for like 20" of travel, going to a sweet rig

I forgot to bring straps with me so I had to take it over to harbor freight to pick up some tie downs, on the trip it rolled over and dumped a ton of gear oil out of the breather... So my truck bed will have a nice gear oil smell to it for the foreseable future lol
