Good morning everybody, sorry to ghost you on Friday. I got up and went for a walk and rolled right into honey-do's.

Rusty, Santa didn’t bring me any new radio gear but one of his helpers did. One of my neighbors was a ham radio operator. He’s getting on up there and had gotten out of the hobby, most of his gear had already been sold. He offered me two antennas and an antenna tuner for free! Part of my work Friday was helping him drop the antennas. I’ve got one up in a temporary location at my house now. I’ll have to do some tree trimming to get the second one up as it’s about 90’ long and needs to be mounted about 40' up in the trees. I’ve got the height in some of my trees but will need to cut some lower branches. It’s going to be a fun project that will require a lift as I’m not climbing that high into the trees lol.

I didn’t get to try out the one antenna that I got up as we had storms start rolling in yesterday afternoon. More forecast for today too
