What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Well I finished bolting on all of my old mods to the new upgrade finally. I have put back on my cali raised cat shields, bakflip mx4 bedcover, interior led lighting, seat jackers, dashcam, go rhino rb20 slim rock sliders, ac drain fix, and a few other mods here and there. One new mod was creating TRX skewp lights out of a cheap raptor light kit I had laying around.

Broken bolts are the main hazard of over tightening.

 

Within the last 3 months: found a great deal on some paint matched flares and SCS Ray 10 wheels with 285/70/17 Falken AT3w
Today: washed the truck and it started to rain immediately afterwards

 

I took a closer look at those Fifteen52 wheels and specifically the stud holes. What kind of lug nuts would you use on this style of wheel? Are the holes counterbored to a flat internal surface?

 

Those flares look really good painted.

 

Mine (TurboMacs) and I believe all Fifteen52 wheels use a conical style lug nuts. I'm running gorilla extended thread splined lug nuts. The tacos need the extended thread ones.

 

Installed some Christmas goodies, Santa brought some standard VTAILs and a new fuse panel cover to allow for fuse adapters. Oh, and rolled 10,000 miles finally!

 

Love the color matched rear bumper caps, looks so much better than the chrome...

One day... lol

Did you go aftermarket or dealer, if aftermarket, do you remember the link??

Actually went aftermarket on eBay, pretty happy with the color match. I figured they may need to be replaced over time so I was happy with the cost/product quality.

Here's the link, just make sure you get the ones with or without BSM holes. And be patient, a warm day is probably better for the plastic.

 

I went to the website and thought it odd that they recommended a sterile style conical nut on a aluminum wheel.

 

I was gonna order one o' them there fancy tailgate panels for $250, but I decided to just make one myself for $50 in parts.

Also just installed a Guild Outfitters outlet in the back of my center console so I can plug in my fridge more easily.

 

I'd like to see pics of this rack setup.

 

I just installed it so I don't have good pics yet, but it's a Leitner ACS rack. So far really like it.

I'll post photos later today.
