I just ordered my 09 DC 4x4 TRD-OR to be here next week. My question is about whether the $699 Toyo Guard is actually worth adding at that price. I already get towing service via my Insurance. I have access to get the actual wax they use already. Is the first oil change and whatever else is included worth that extra $699?

Didn't find 700 dollars being a fair price for it. If it was 300-500. meh, maybe. But i change my own oil and know how to wax. My insurance already covers me on the car rental/towing when SHTF.

    Nothing yet, brand new!
Was this presented to you at the F&I or finance office??
IMHO spend it on something more worthwhile. Or save the money :)

i don't think he is. there's an option for the Toyo guard package (roadside assistance, some special clearcoat, something to do with the windows, first oil change, etc)

Correct lifesaflaw123. Its an add on package for $699 just as you pointed out. Here in the Southeast region they try to sneak it in on all window stickers. I personally did not purchase it but was wondering about the so called corrosion/undercoating it is suppossed to add with that package. I have to agree that those dollars can buy other added accessories.

Don't get it, use the $699 and buy some weed. Have one hell of a new years eve party.
