also its easy to lose context in a text based medium. same thing happens with text messages. something that was meant as a joke can easily come across the wrong way.

 

I don't always agree with the COC. But, I think it's based on the fact that a lot of people can't argue, or even disagree, without taking things personally.

I am an argumentative person. I just hope nobody takes it personally when I disagree. Hell, half of the time I find out that I'm wrong, and end up learning something.

I'm not sure how anyone could have been offended by that. Just the word "church" shouldn't be grounds for deletion, IMO. Especially in the context of church festivals. I'm not even religious, and I've been to plenty of those.
