    Hi,

I know there are pages and pages about this but I am at work so I have to limit my time farting around. Could someone give me a quick answer or two please...

I can't stand that freaking piece of crap squeaky heater fan. I have taken it out, cleaned it, lubed it several times but it just keeps on squeaking.

I there a new part for this? Anyone have the part number? Better yet, is there a permanent fix for my existing one?

    Cheers,

Surprisingly mine just stopped squeaking one day and I haven't heard it squeak in a long time.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Move to Florida. Now I've probably cursed myself and mine'll start squeeking.

Yeah that's what I wonder. How many of these stark squeaking as they break in, but eventually settle down and shut up.

Mine did the oppositte, had it for almost 3 years then started making noise. I tore it out, lubricated everything, cleaned the housing real good and it's been quiet ever since.

To be honest, after 4 years of ownership, I haven't come across this issue. Maybe I am just one of the lucky ones as this seems like a commonality?

    I probably just jinxed myself...

llllooooooooolllllllllll it makes me laugh when I see people on the verge of going CRAZY about this thing. I can now confirm we are all made the same... :)

I did go crazy, tried to lube the thing, but no chance.

I bought a TYC fan on Ebay and it does the job since then (3 months), and was not expensive.

Mine's been driving me nuts for almost 2 years now... no noise whatsoever before then. Tore it completely apart, lubed, etc to no avail. Thankfully spring is here so I just roll down the windows! :)
