PSI Help

Soooo . . . try 37 maybe? That should flatten the tread a bit.

None of the E-rated charts go below 35 psi. That's the lowest I would run for pavement use.

just had it at the dealership for the first 5,000 mile check - unless they didn’t check it and it’s out of alignment already it should be good

 

they don’t check your alignment during a 5000 mile multi point inspection…
Unless they have the fancy technology out in front of the dealership on the service drive that actually scans and checks your alignment as you drive through, but I wouldn’t trust that to be accurate either….

 

I’ll get it checked. But my money is on me fucking up the PSI versus the alignment being off this early and with no signs of an issue while driving.

 

could totally drive straight & still have alignment / wear issues...
My moms 2019 fusion, didnt catch it until 10k on the tires...
Outside edges worn....
but also could be tire pressure as you stated...
As I stated, ide be setting it to whatever Falken recommended per your application, think they would know better than anyone..
Its their tire...

Are you certain you didnt have that measurement on the edge, proir to your trip & really isn't tire wear???

But yes, nobody is physically checking your alignment during periodic maintenance, oil change, 99 point inspection, etc....
You would be paying extra for that...

As I stated, my dealer does have fancy super costly hands free alignment analyzer as you drive-up the service drive...
But, I would trust that if I was dealing with a 1 off situation / tire wear issue...

I am still figuring out the right PSI for my P285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT4W on my '24 Tacoma TRDOR. Right now, I am at 30PSI.

 

I’ve got the same shoes on my sport, standard load,
that’s where falken actually told me to set my tire pressure…

Seen a recent post elsewhere, related to a pro, but you could be dealing with the same issue so I wouldn't ignore....

"I know that some early Pros were shipped with a lot of positive camber, which would cause outside tire wear. Not sure about other trims but that could be a problem on your Sport.

You might want to get your dealer to check the alignment on your truck."
