I'm about to do this as well. Did you do leafs as well or just the front struts/rear shocks? I'm doing Taco lean spacer only and 1/2" Trail Edition blocks in the back, but since I still have pre-TSB leafs I snagged the leafs along with the rest.

RIP to my wallet. Had to get a new yellow top. Was $392.68 after tax and core charge refund.

old one exploded battery acid everywhere after 7 years. Took the old automatic toothbrush to it and cleaned it up nice and new, got some new stainless steel bolts and washers too. Back on the road.

My truck already has the TSB leafs, so front struts with headstrong 1/4" spacers, true bilstein 4600's in the rear, not the take off bilsteins and a 1" rear block.

So, if you have the 3rd gen leaf springs, I'd use them as well.

oil change, rotate and balance the tires, mount the relay/fuse box, mock up the skid plates (they fit good enough that I left them on). I'll need to come up with a permanent solution.

    My blood is green? :alien:

The battery cleaner goes from yellow to red when it picks up battery acid. Stained my fingers.

I just picked one also. I was sick of the one on the dash flopping around. I have a heavy ass phone and it doesn’t budge. 10/10

Have the same problem just behind the left front wheel on the frame. In the process of having a patch welded over it. Treated the area with rust treatment and paint. Will have it cut out and fixed early next year.

Yeah this is very annoying. I peered behind it with my borescope and it really looks like about the size of where the very strong steel outer layer has rusted away. I was planning to leave mid-january on a road trip but I will need this done first.

I was fortunate enough to get mine on a sale price. Best $60 bucks I have spent on the truck.

I had a guy on Etsy 3D print a charging mount for me. Don't use it too much but its better than throwing random stuff in that cubby.

Who makes those bedsides. I've been eyeing some Advanced Fiberglass Concepts 4" flare 3" riser fenders. Im not long travel so think those should be enough for the truck.

**Drove the truck yesterday for the first time since thanksgiving. Service light came on, so that's on the to do list.

Took advantage of the unseasonably warm day and poked around on the truck a bit.

Added an extension hose to the HVAC drain so it drips straight onto the ground.

Changed out the PCV valve, when I changed oil last month I noticed some sludge inside the cap. The valve looked original to the truck but still rattled...I'm thinking the sludge was just a result of a handful of recent short drives. Checked all fluids, everything looks happy and healthy.

Installed an AEM dry flow air filter and removed the secondary emissions filter. Read plenty about how it doesn't make a difference either way, removed it anyway because it was ridiculously dirty. Makes me wonder a little more about the history of this truck...like, did the previous owner decide air filters were overrated or something?

Filled my spare tire (slow leak at the bead) and shopped around for wheels and tires...again...just can't make up my mind.

Over the weekend changed the oil and put the CAI back on. I love how easy it is to change the oil in these trucks. Took me a whole 7 minutes.

Out with the old and in with the new. The old Kenwood unit has been nothing but a headache since I bought the truck. So far I'm really liking this Joyong Android 12 head unit. I know it's not a high-end radio but I don't need anything crazy performing. Still have a lot of settings to fool with.
