    Seems this thread died down… but anyone know a good mechanic in the 91 corridor? I need some front end work done. I tried Built for the East in Granby but both text and call were ignored. I’m guessing he isn’t interested in routine stuff.

    I have used Adam a handful of times but last time I reached out he was swamped with work and couldn’t fit me in anytime soon sadly. I needed an alignment after swapping UCAs. Used a shop in Palmer called JRB Performance and Custom. Wasn’t cheap but it drives nice and the wheel is straight. Not exactly 91 but not far off the path!

    Thanks, I’ll check them out! Yeah, I figured he’s probably busier with bigger stuff…


    I went to do front shocks and found at least my DS cam bolts seized. Looking to get it sorted. I was going to cut them off and do LCAs myself, but winter and no garage and it’s my only transportation.

    I have all the parts and hardware, just need it done.

    I was going to say that we do a Mod and Meet about once every six weeks or so whether it be at my house (Wilbraham) or @AllTacosFloat garage in Andover (a bit of a drive but not too bad) and we have done a lot of cam bolt cutting and replacing of LCA's in the past. How soon do you need it done? Are you replacing with OEM cam bolts? Do you want to do both sides? Are you replacing the LCA's or attempting to replace the bushings with whiteline bushings? How soon do you need it done?

    Ahh awesome. As it is now I have replacement Moog LCAs with bushings installed and OEM can bolt hardware. I have only checked the driver’s side but I imagine if that’s seized, it’s likely both are..

    I am not a big rush, maybe within the next few months. Definitely due for tires and an alignment in the near future.

    Thats perfect, we can most certainly help you with that, especially with the new lca's. Having a new lca helps a bunch and going OEM with the cam bolts is key, pnly this time we will antiseize the shit out of them. Never use aftermarket cam bolts unless there is a totally different cam tab system with it (mostly for extreme offroading). We will let you know when the next mod and meet is, most likely in the spring.
