Nobody voluntarily goes to Barstow...something must've happened, surely.

Their "direct fit" option for first gens don't actually fit the first gen stock location in the rear... So either I'll ping em again in Jan and get a solution, or just say fuck it, get an alignment and new tires and deal with what I have

Ummm no. I have the spare back there and it's staying there. I don't have the means to do it myself to keep the spare, more the energy or trust or money to fuck around with someone to do it for me. I just need a shock that is longer than the fox ifp I have, and valving for buttery ride around town. ADS knows I'll pay for a custom shock build for that, but just waiting for them to get back after the holiday stretch.

Keeping the spare back there is more than enough reason to keep it as is.

I suggested it based on the nearby resources you have (and the ease of the job itself).

I have to change my oil laying in the dirt lot of goat heads at work, I do not have a place for that shit. Which reminds me I should probably do the taco soon... And the van is getting close.... It never ends.
    Nearby resources?

    The mustangs officially totaled..
Pretty good offer for it though, 16k
Surprised they totaled it out, repairs were under 10k
Shame, visually all it needed was a new bumper and some paint. Didn’t look anywhere near ‘totaled’ but the damn frame rails were tweaked like 1/2mm

Man, so my friend that's got that 5' x 10' CNC table...he asked if I wanted to buy it.

I'm not gonna swing $15k for a table I can't fit in my shop

He's officially buying a fiber laser table

Well, price to me would be less than everyone else

It'd include the Hypertherm 65Sync plasma cutter and machine torch.

He actually asked if I wanted to buy it last month, and even said he'd be fine with just taking payments of like $100/mo - he's a good friend of mine so not something he'd care to do with anyone else. He figured since he'd be financing part of the new table as it's over $40k? Just mentioning it now since he just texted me he's actually sending payment tomorrow for the laser table.

I had to politely decline any option of buying it cause it's just too big to fit the shop.

If you're genuinely serious, I can ask how much he'd sell the whole setup and you can swing by with a trailer with cash in hand. He's got a forklift to help you load it up and it's got a brand new computer to go with it.
