    It was a busy day with almost no sleep from last night. 8AM neurology app't, the VA sent me out to community care to get some help with the vertigo/lack of balance. I changed out the alternator on the Taco, the original one would barely spin by hand. I had to use a Carquest re-manned unit, I hope that it lasts a few years. I got it from the Advance Auto parts that is closing down, it was $25 and a $60 core charge. I also needed to turn in the caliper cores, I just wasn't ready to install the re-manned ones yet, so I did a dirt-bag maneuver and put some old 4runner calipers in the box as cores. The kid at the store never even opened boxes, I could have had bricks inside.

    I didn't have the burning rubber smell from under the hood when I got to the store, so I think that the issue is fixed for now.

    I changed the thermostat in the firewood truck without loosing very much coolant, thankfully. Not a single e-mail for any job interviews from sending out resumes. :mad:
