With a battle-scarred bullbar on the front, there was no way in the hell my truck was getting damaged; as you can see, the two garbage cans were representing the “front” vehicle…

 

I hit the curb during my drivers test and thought l was going to fail, but thankfully didn't. I remember the guy sitting in the passenger seat with a clipboard and writing stuff down the entire time, don't think he ever looked out of the windshield, lol.

 

I failed my first driver’s test because of parallel parking, I failed the second time because I was going a bit too fast, and I finally passed on the third try; I took the test in my Tacoma, it was a warm day in May 2011, and the instructor was grateful that I had working A/C!

 

We didn’t have to parallel park when I took mine. You pretty much just had to not crash and park “halfway” decent in a parking spot.

I got my license when I was 15.

And my motorcycle license when I was 18. But I took the AMA school for it. And it was rigorous. 10 people in the class. And only 6 passed. Riding motocross bikes growing up, 100% helped.

The only thing I was docked for was not using all fingers in the clutch and brake levers. And I’m pretty sure the instructor did it just to “tease” me.


He actually tried to get me to buy a BMW Touring bike and ride with him. But I was to stuck on sport bikes.

 

Did you live in Tennessee when you first got your license?

 

Yes. I’ve always lived in Tennessee

I got a hardship license at 15.
Started work the day after I turned 15.

I had an 1986 Ford Bronco II.
