Lol, I believe it. Okinawa during restrictions and peak Covid was pretty wack. I was fresh off a trip to Thailand in '21 and we ended up being quarantined/living in our hangar for a month while everyone else stayed on the ship. Found out after we landed that we shouldn't have left apparently. Slept on cots next to the toolboxes in our shop. I was basically the worker and the qual for any maintenance we had because it was me, my OIC, my SSgt and a nuggit, some dumbass SSgt set off the AFFF lighting a grill right outside the hangar (which went off until it was depleted because the buttons to shut it off were broken), thus extending our quarantine because the FD showed up, it was a nightmare. Looking back at it now, it's hilarious though got a couple cool patches out of it too. Hilariously enough, since we weren't on the ship we missed out on some "Covid relief" ribbon. Everyone else that stayed on the ship got it though.

Well, was taking the family up to Gettysburg for the Lincoln Square festivities and fireworks… but Mother Nature had other plans, so that’s not happening.

Looks like a night inside and hanging here. But we did have new mattresses delivered earlier, so looking forward to a new year full of better nights sleeping (hopefully)!!

I plan on looking at the diff fluid change kit I have and not changing the fluids again

 

I also need to coat the carriage with the Woolwax, also in my garage…


Went through a touchless car wash yesterday, but it didn’t really do anything

have some waterless rinse coming from Amazon for me to look at and not use either


The car wash was terrible. I’m not sure if the roof rack was messing up the sensors but the arm wouldn’t go forward past the hood and would hit it, move forward, try again then hit my truck again. No scratches or anything, just annoying.
