Is there anything that connects the blinkers, cruise control and the little lock thing that keeps you from shifting out of park until you push the brake?

All fuses tested fine and the sensor on the by the brake has been replaced

Pretty sure that's the one I have in my wishlist. How was the install? Did you run the front camera? I really want that front camera lol. Can you give a quick review on how it's working?

Done a lot this month. Undercover tonneau, pop n lock, alpharex tail lights, oil change, coolant flush, teq off-road mount i posted earlier. Today specifically I made a little brace for my pop n lock since the act of pulling the locked handle was pushing the lock unit out of the way and letting the tailgate open. Not ideal. So I triangulated it with some Home Depot aluminium and 1/8 sheet metal screws.

I didn't run the front camera because I have the Wolfbox dashcam already, although for as cheap as the cameras are, I might do it later. The install was a breeze. Literally just plug and play for basic functions. I still have to wire up the factory rearview mirror backup camera when I have more time as well as run the GPS module. I also want to order a better exterior mic than what comes with it and run that too. For the time being though it's working flawlessly. For a $400 head unit you really can't ask for more.

Removed the center console and part around the shifter. Today I'm going to remove the radio and trim under the radio.

I'm doing a revamp of my wiring (making stuff simple). It's been unusually warm here so...

Need to order some stuff from Amazon so I can relocate a couple items and switches.

    Yep.
    Boost gauge - 30-0306
    AFR gauge - 30-0400

Both are mounted on a cravenspeed flexpod:
    https://www.cravenspeed.com/the-flexpod-gauge-mounting-kit/

**Some minor modifications/trimming is needed to get them to fit properly.**

I had this mic installed in the stock location for my Kenwood head unit about 3 years ago. No issues whatsoever, highly recommend.

Did all the steering wheel controls work plug and play or does it need a SWC box or anything to make it work?

Mine all work fine. You can send Joying a picture of your steering wheel and console and they can make sure they send you the correct harness. The newest version units (Android 12) are all plug and play.

Auto or manual? Under the manual cup holders is a nice spot for aux fuses or terminal connections.

It's an auto. I already have an idea in mind of what I want to do. I pulled the panels out to remove what I installed earlier.

I did this earlier in 2024 with the Joying. Also installed a power Kenwood sub under the passenger seat. The Apple Car Play has been a game changer.

You mentioned getting the factory backup to go thru the Joying? Mine currently is in the rear view mirror, but if there's a way to put it on the Joying, I'd love to know how.

I love mine so far. The auto-launching wireless Android Auto has been awesome. I also have an amp and two 10" subs behind my rear seat. I'll let you know about the backup camera once I decide to tackle that, probably this coming weekend.

Which sub and did it fit without a bunch of extra work? I want to round out my soundstage but don't need to put in subs like I had when I was in my 20s.

Had recall completed on leaf spring and clock spring / spiral cable. Took 5 hours to complete. Now on to the next item on the punch list.
