Agree on an amount of teams being needed to sort through and attempt to find the best one. Just think there needs to be a way they determine the ranking like the BCS strategy listed above maybe. Idk. First year will always have quirks.

Yes this is correct as the ACC doesn't exist in hockey.

 

Just ask NASCAR. When you try to manufacture drama, people eventually get fatigued by it and forget what normal events sometimes look like.

The best part of this playoff is there is absolutely no disputing who deserved to be in the final 4 and championship. They went forward and proved it on the field. About the only thing we can argue is rankings. But that'll never change. If you want to be the best, you still have to beat the best.

 

Personally I will never support any sort of BCS anything, even if it is only part of the equation.

 

I mean they made a mess of it in the past so don’t think they are the end solution. Think some sort of defined set of parameters determines the setup but not sure who determines those parameters.

 

Can’t say I disagree with this, but I’d be pissed if I was paying for lodging and such to be at that game.

 

D1 will never be fully competitive until they reduce the amount of teams.

that’s why it appears the nfl and other college divisions are more competitive.

Great game! Finally a lower ranked team puts up a great fight.

 

The NFL is the top 2% of NCAA players so that's not really a fair comparison. If you follow division II you'd also see that they're not that close either. National Champion Ferris State won their games by an average of 30+ points this year, including playoffs.
