I liked for this part, the rest sounds like hard work.

 

If i knew what i was doing it would have been easier

 

Several weeks ago, I thought I'd adjust mine and see that happened. Well, both LCAs are siezed, so the job is gong to be a bit more involved. I don't have a garage I can put my truck in, so the job will wait until spring. Luckily, the alignment isn't too far out.

 

I'm just curious what you are using to measure the camber/caster? The desert trip sounds like fun!

 

What do you use for turn plates under the tires?

Good morning. It looks like my neck of the woods is going to have about 10 days or more of below freezing weather. No warmth to melt the snow off the deck, sidewalks or driveway, I will have to use manpower instead. The grandson went out the door very reluctantly today as school resumes. I told him to enjoy, Soon, he will wish for off days like he gets at school. He was a little angry at me for saying that.

I replaced the bushing a couple of years ago and we don't have that pesky rust issue.

The fact it was rubbing the cab on turns let me know it was off so i pushed the spc adj to +3 then a tape measure showd me that camber was off. Normally I take it to a shop that has a large alignment machine for big trucks, just dont have the time.

Jack up the truck, take the tire off, adj, put the tire on, lower the truck, measure, jack up the truck, take the tire off, adj, put the tire on...etc

If the tire didn't weigh so much it would still be too much

I resemble that remark

 

That sounds like work
