Wow! Up later than usual this morning. Extra sleep welcomed! Hope all is well with everyone. Absolutely nothing on my to-do list today. Snowing this morning, which I can live without. I'll be inside, next to the fireplace.

Ditto! I was in 7th grade when I got my glasses (now wear contacts), but the revelation of the things I was missing and thought my vision was kinda what everyone else saw. Darn! No wonder I couldn't hit a baseball. Couldn't see it until it was too late.
@woodtickgreg thanks for the input. Ted Nugent did a number on my ears in 1977, I still hear the feedback from that Byrdland guitar and those Fender amps. Your info may come in handy soon.

Oh...Good morning all! Happy Thursday. I'm coasting through the next week and a half until I start the new gig on the 13th. Still paid and doing a little clean-up of files and projects.

    Good Morning Porch Folks :hattip:.
Drinking the first cup of coffee this morning and making a mental list of things to do today. Fortunately it's not a long list :D.
Winding down before we head to St.Marten for the warm weather . All packed just hoping the weather holds out on Monday.

Have a great day folks and be safe :fistbump:

Rudy's Steakhouse. Expect to spend $100 a person. Well worth the price. Food is great and the service is excellent. Sides are sharable, deserts are to die for. I would make a reservation. I may be going backup to Michigan in May, depending on my knee recovery, and I will make a reservation.

Good morning. It was 32 here this morning. Going to the gym then home for the rest of the day. Going to make pork spare rib tips for dinner tonight, still deciding on the veggie, probably broccoli.

Recovery is very good Jim Thanks. Went to the doctor this past Friday (3 days out of the hospital) and he gave me a clean bill of health, and I wasn't contagious anymore and just be careful in crowds. Looking forward to getting away. Sitting on a warm beach and relaxing ...I will definitely post up pictures.

Have a great day and relax until it's starting the new job

My first concert ever was at Cobo Hall, 1971, Foghat. Wife says it's also time for hearing aids.

First concert... Spirit, Sugarloaf, Cream. At the Dirt Palace, a livestock show arena in Salt Lake City at the State Fairgrounds. The last concert they ever allowed in the building because things got a little rowdy. I was there with Peggy Kohler, a little hottie if I do say so myself. There was a guy that took off all his clothes and wandered around in the audience and then climbed up on stage between acts. Obviously drugged out to the max. Security dragged him off stage and either let him go or he escaped and wandered around in the audience, us sitting cross legged on the dirt floor. Peggy felt something nudge her back and she turned around to find "something" right in her face. I'll never forget her reaction. She was very embarrassed. Unbeknownst to me, some friends that didn't have tickets and wanted to buy them at the door were denied because the concert was sold out. So they or someone else that couldn't get a ticket hotwired a car and crashed into an exit door, lots of people cheering and rushing in to flood the place. Security got there too late to do much and the concert continued on. It was altogether a great beginning to my acid rock experience.

Do you know that if you buy an "Alexa" for your home from Amazon... it will not recognize "acid rock" as a genre? I guess it's not politically correct.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! First wonderful medical adventure done. Mentioned I called the hospital about my "pre-assessment" visit, and I was told I was all set - forms filled out and etc. So, I get a text and email last night to fill out forms again. Before I called them, I took a quick start up visit, and THIS time, it's all those forms that they have you fill out after they've given you your "pre-sedation" med. "Do you have your license and insurance card?" NO, you took all my clothes! Oh well, all done again.
Next mystery is to find my Rx drugs. The Optum RX that my old UHC had for part D still seems to be servicing me. The new Express Scripts that is part D for my new UHC had NOTHING for me on line when I registered - because it is not part of the UHC web (literally and figuratively). The last ones I would call is Optum, since they still seem to be taking care of it - but I don't really know if that's just because the order was actually before end of year. Guess I will find out.
That and maybe some putz if it warms a little, before the rescheduled Sugar Bowl.
