Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Morning shop

Busy day today, back to work. And on lunch I have to run over to a local auto shop. I had been discussing a job opportunity with them and the wife and I discussed it over the holiday and decided I should just stay where I am. Always unpleasant to go have that talk. But I'd rather go in and tell them in person and shake their hand.

 

Always good to be Frank. Keeps the door open for later.

What a way to start the new year

 

It usually doesn't take long, maybe 3-4 hours tops.

 

I'm kind of partial to going on vacation the first week of the new year.

While your wife texts you about going on vacation in March, too.

And apparently she's serious.

 

Almost like a dentist visit

 

I save mine for hunting, I wont take another vacation day for 10 months.


Maybe not, that sounds so far away.

 

I picked up 3 more days starting yesterday

 

I did the end of November.

 

I don't hunt.

Or fish.

Or snowmobile.

Why do I live here again?

 

I get another week, not until next January tho.

Will be 20 years at that amazing place.

Finally got my bandsaw part in...

Went from MD--->PA--->WA--->CA--->NC-->TN--->KY....took all of 5min to install. And working order now

 

I have a small package being transferred from UPS to USPS, I may get it this year, may be next
