    Hello all,
I am looking at moving my ECT switch over to left side of dash. I have an extension harness (30”) I picked up on EBay. Now I am in need of a longer switch to go into the longer blank hole in the dash. So my question is has anyone attempted this and know of a longer switch and where to buy it.
    Thanks in advance

I personally don’t like where it sits on the right. It’s down below my sight line. To hard to turn on/off without taking my eyes off the road. Also by moving it I will have 3 spots to put a switch for rear lights, light bar & fog lights. Also it will allow me to move the ECT switch over by my RedArc brake controller. I am looking for that OEM look.

I've had the extension on for years now, not a single issue. I moved mine over to the small space right in-front of the E-brake. I really like that it gives you an additional switch spot.

Incase you want to watch the process.

It would have been really nice if they had it mounted on the steering wheel.

I don't sell on eBay anymore, the fees were too high.

You can find me direct; TacomaBob.com - 3rd Generation Toyota Tacoma
    Also on Etsy; https://www.etsy.com/shop/TacomaBob

I'm currently working on extension harnesses for the 4th Generation. First up will be for the AUX1, 2, 3 switches. Following that I hope to be offering more as I source things out. If anyone wants to be notified as they become available shoot me a message at shoptacomabob@gmail.com

You can get a customized switch for that spot.
    https://ch4x4.com/product/ch4x4-custom-laser-etched-push-switches-for-toyota/
You’ll have to adapt the wiring to make it work, but it’s doable. Use a momentary switch. It’s been a bit, but I think doing it this way will have the icon light up all the time when the truck is on, but the text will only light up with the dash. But you can wire both to be on with the truck

The OP purchased the harness from my site. I know you asked this a while ago, but figured I'd respond in case you were still looking. The OP bought it from me on eBay, but I don't sell on eBay anymore.
