Definitely a Toe n Go, even though from what I can tell in the FSM it's all within spec.

I reached out to Jay "LowCountryTaco on Insta" and he pointed me to better shops in the area. If they have some serious issues with it and I'm misinterpreting the FSM I'll request a refund with the new specs from the place in Moncks corner, if they don't we'll go from there.

Also gonna reinstall my sway bar tomorrow, not a fan of the body roll, since I'll be towing and my daughter will be in the truck.

Very satisfied with the steering though, feels so tight and firm, and it's no longer bump steering all over the place. Bilsteins are nice and smooth with a bit more rebound than I would like but it's technically preloading the coil spring. It's nothing to write home about though. Definitely miles ahead of how sloppy and blown out the ride felt prior.

Can't find a good mechanic nowadays. If I had the means I'd just align the fucker myself.

I've done my own alignment at Firestone while the "mechanic" watched lol. He was about to start adjusting my coilovers to change camber and I told him to give me the tools lmao.

Tomorrow is my last free Saturday for the foreseeable future. Even though it's supposed to rain, gonna hit more of the SCAR. Just going to have to pay close attention to mud pits, etc.

I would add a little more caster on the pass side, maybe half a degree or so. Otherwise fine for most applications.

Had the line-x in Lugoff spray the bed on the truck. Really happy with how it turned out. Anything is better than the plastic liner though. I think it was $642 out the door.

Found a pic of my short course race body. White one was my main truck and the stock body was on my backup.

First time this old girl has had the plugs changed in a while. Last record was at 90k. Shes at 278k today. I hope there’s at least one more Change between here and There. I was worried they’d be seized in there. Missing 2 because the kids stole them for something.

Oh and when I start having misfires I know two places to start looking. About half the coils had these cracks and I’m pretty sure those heat shrink butt connectors aren’t OEM. IMG_7667.jpg IMG_7669.jpg

Is that the results from squirrel damage? I had to fix my MAF connector in a similar manner.

Yea there’s a few chew marks on insulation and a nice collection of chewed up nuts under the intake manifold. Either squirrels or chipmunks. Overall the in-laws got lucky this was the only chewed wires. I had forgotten they had rodent problems for a while till now.

278k miles? I guess the cruiser runs hotter than the Tacoma 1GRFE. 330k on my Tacoma and I haven't noticed what looks like heat fractures on mine.
You can get NGK 59009 to replace the rubbers on the Tacoma COP, probably something similar for a cruiser. I imagine they might be not as spry as they once were.

Still runs like a champ thankfully. The rubbers still looked surprisingly good!
