1200 miles and noticed that there is condensation in the fog lights. Both of them, too.

IMO Diode Dynamics are worth it.

After my Taco was totalled and got my current Fitty I immediately started looking at what I needed to install the pods on the new truck. Love em :anonymous:

Curious if the OEM fog lights are vented to atmosphere. Toyota's design philosophy is usually to vent any compartment with air volume inside, like the ADD actuator and transfer case actuator. Headlights and tail lights are vented.

I noticed the same thing with mine after the first time I drove it in the snow a few weeks ago. Have not noticed it since when driving it in similar conditions.

    OK, you have warranty…
That would involve going to the dealer and actually dropping your truck off…o_O

In this case it sounds like a good way to buy some ridgids and get them installed for free!

Hard to say, they may just flush the moisture out with compressed air and replace the seal at the bulb….
And that’s assuming their serviceable, I’ll have my bumper/front clip off in the next couple of weeks and find out soon enough…
But yes, that would be a great plan, but that would involve somebody spending money on some quality lights,

Yeah it’s going next week. They said it will take 7 to 8 hours to diagnose… lol.
Just putting it up here for others to check theirs just in case is all.

Won’t take 7-8 hours to diagnose,
Takes 10 minutes to diagnose, may take all day for the tech to actually get it in his stall and work on it, depending on his workload.
They’re preparing you for the worst…
they’re basically telling you it’s going to take all day, drop it off and leave it…
Probably get new housings, order parts, tell pick it up after they order parts, same day,
and then they will call you in when the parts show up…

Pretty normal protocol, unless it’s been problematic and they actually stock them or they can get them the next day…
Then the truck will stay till it’s done…

No, yeah, I know it won’t. Sarcasm never comes across on the internet, ha. I used to be a service writer back in the day. It’s just funny that they say that.

Regardless, thanks for sharing so the rest of us can keep an eye out for it. Mine hasn't even been in any serious weather yet, but the first time it does hit some good stuff I'll be sure to check.
