Do these canopies have air vents?

Hi everyone, I have one of these on order. I’m curious if anyone has found a way to retrofit the supplied compression latches to allow the locks to be unlocked/opened from the inside? I’m under the impression that the only way to reach out of the side window is through the small sliding gap, unless the window unlatches another way?

After reading this thread and seeing the quality of the campers via photos, I pulled the trigger and ordered.
I feel optimistic based on what I've seen here and the fact that it was 1/4 the price of anything I can get here.
I ordered from the same business as Pahonix. They were easy and helpful to deal with. So far it has been a pleasant experience. I added a 270° awning and roof rack for the camper.

I'm doing my measurements video tomorrow and they warned me that with the new year festival it was likely I didn't get my stuff until around the 1st of April.

I will try to share as the experience unfolds and will take pics as I go.
    Wish me luck lol

What do you use to clean the glass in between the camper and back of the truck?

Thought about that when I washed my truck today. I might try this...

That's a good idea. I will look at the local store if that's available.

So I ordered and they asked me for a bunch of measurements. You film it and send it in their messaging app.
Then they messaged me to confirm it in metric, which makes sense, America is the only place not using the infinitely simpler and universally used system.
I ordered a laser measuring device and re-video'd using metric. And now the worst part: we wait. Lol

I will say they have been responsive, helpful, and very polite. So far has been a nice experience.

My suggestion is be careful putting the sealant that turns to rubber. I did mine and had to trim the excess sealant.

Well I'm officially done. Wired the third brake light and a interior canopy light.

The FBC harnesses were a lifesaver. Email him now and get your brake light and t harness harness for the canopy light. I think he is closing his shop and only selling remaining inventory.

That looks fantastic. How did you wire the 3rd brake light to the FBC harness? Please post pictures. My canopy came with white wire, brown wire and red wire. I connected the FBC harness to the red wire but I cannot get the 3rd brake light to work.

Can you also post pictures of how you connected the interior light?

Should be white wire is your ground which is the white wire on the harness. I would then try the brown wire and connect it to the pink wire on the harness.

    I'd try that first.

Thank, I tried using the brown and connected the ground to the white wire on the camper and 3rd brake light is working now. I am only needing to connect the interior strip light.

I see a ton of different sellers with this style canopy on AliExpress with mixed reviews regarding fitment. Any particular seller people have had good results with?

Also, I'm a little skeptical of the external hinges, how sturdy are they?
Has anyone bought the cupboard insert?
How easily can you mount things to the bottom side of the canopy?

I used an FBC harness for this also. I believe it was called the t harness. This connected between the body harness and the bed lights and then gave me two wires to connect the interior light.

Can you post the link to the specific Dance harness that you used and where did you connect the harness?

How sturdy do the hinges seem? They look a bit flimsy from the photos which makes me hesitant to buy, but id rather not spend 2.5x the $ for an alu-cab if possible.

    One other question,
Does the front window behind the cab open any?
